The Assistant Professor of Social Work teaches in both the graduate and undergraduate social work programs, advises BSW and MSW students, and maintains an active agenda of scholarship and or research, which includes social work-based research/training projects and ongoing scholarly publications. Additionally, value is placed on participation in community service at the local, state, and national levels. Grant-funded research is encouraged and supported by the university. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
