Job description

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites applications for a board-eligible or board-certified Radiation Oncologist to join our dynamic Radiation Oncology team at Columbia University Irving Medical Center our regional affiliates, including facilities in Westchester: Lawrence Hospital, in Bronxville (about 20-minutes north of Manhattan) and Hudson Valley Hospital in beautiful Cortlandt Manor, New York. Further regional growth opportunities are possible. Responsibilities may include training activities in delivery of clinical care, clinical research, assisting with clinical trials, and additional duties as assigned.



The Department is a member of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with over $25 million in funding from the NIH, and with a dynamic new chairperson, internationally recognized for her clinical trial and outcomes research, we are looking for motivated candidates to participate in our academic mission. We are currently in the process of significant growth both at the main campus, with the commencement of a funded adaptive radiation program using the ETHOS system and the construction of a new cancer center building, as well as at our regionals sites.


Board-certification and New York State medical license are required.
