Job summary

Lawrence University of Wisconsin invites applications for two full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology positions to begin September 1, 2027. One in social psychology; the other in cognitive, biological, developmental, or clinical/counseling psychology.

Candidates will teach Research Methods and courses in their specialty, with hands-on laboratory experiences for undergraduates. Primary duties include teaching, advising, mentoring, conducting research, and curricular planning.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. prior to start date in social psychology or related subfield; ABDs acceptable for consideration.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting.
• Evidence of scholarly activity and potential for external grant activity.
• Ability to contribute to senior capstone and introductory psychology courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach Research Methods on rotation and courses in specialty area at intermediate and advanced levels.
• Advise and mentor students; supervise independent study, internships and tutorials.
• Lead undergraduate research projects and integrate scholarship with teaching.
