Qualifications

  • Experience with ARC-PA accreditation processes.
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a healthcare provider.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and program evaluation.

Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Physician Assistant Program at the Glenside Campus. Arcadia's College of Health Sciences (CHS) houses the University's Public Health, Medical Science (Physician Assistant Studies), and Physical Therapy departments. Through evidence-based practice and project-based learning, these programs prepare healthcare professionals for success in a rapidly changing global environment, with applied and pro bono clinical thesis work, clinical rotations, international fieldwork, and multicultural assessment. Graduates of Arcadia's CHS programs are at the forefront of their respective fields and employed with leading health organizations.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in physician assistant studies or related healthcare field is required; doctorate degree or willingness to pursue a doctorate degree is preferred.
  • NCCPA Board certification.
  • Working understanding of the current PA education standards as defined by the Accreditation.
  • Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a healthcare provider.
