POSITION:
Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Bone Health (45% Research, 50% Teaching, 5% Service), 9 month academic year tenure-track appointment in the Department of Nutritional Sciences in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for the position of Assistant Professor, the applicant must hold an earned doctoral degree (upon appointment) in nutrition or a related scientific field. The applicant must have an academic background in the science of nutrition and have demonstrated productivity in bone-related research in health and/or disease. The applicant should have demonstrated scholarly competence and research productivity, or the potential for such, and show evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with at least two years of post-doctoral research experience are preferred, and at least one year of experience conducting clinical trials is desirable. Candidates that demonstrate evidence of preparation and submission of external research grants are also preferred.
