Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a biological science with neuroscience focus; ABDs considered for instructor if not complete by Aug 16, 2027.
• Ability to teach neuroscience and additional biology courses including general education requirements.
• Evidence of ability to establish an independent undergraduate research program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and mentorship for student research.

Responsibilities

• Teach neuroscience and related courses for 12 contact hours per semester.
• Support general biology curriculum with additional courses as needed.
• Engage in student-centered research and mentor undergraduates.
• Advise and mentor biology majors.
• Engage in professional service to department, college, and university.
• Perform other duties as assigned by department chair.
