The Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama seeks a tenure-track Advanced Assistant or Assistant Professor in the Department of Management. The candidate will develop a robust research program and teach across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs, with service to the department, college, and university.

Preference given to research in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, especially AI implications, and to those with macro-level methods expertise.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for tenure-track appointment within a leading research university.
• Experience in publishing in top scholarly journals preferred.

The Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Advanced Assistant or Assistant Professor position in the Department of Management. Primary duties include developing and maintaining a robust research program that results in publications in leading scholarly journals, teaching courses in our undergraduate, master's, and/or doctoral programs, and performing service activities as assigned by the Department, College, and University.

We seek candidates with research and teaching interests in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. As part of the department's strategic priorities, preference will be given to candidates whose research examines the implications of artificial intelligence for strategy and entrepreneurship or advances our understanding of how AI is reshaping foundational theories and practices in these fields. Candidates with expertise in macro-level research methods are also especially encouraged to apply.

The Culverhouse College of Business offers a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem, including the Alabama Entrepreneurship Institute (AEI), The EDGE, an entrepreneurship concentration, and a university-wide entrepreneurship minor.
