A leading university is seeking a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in finance starting August 2025. Candidates will teach graduate courses, engage in impactful research, and contribute to the School of Business’s mission of excellence and diversity. Ideal applicants will possess a Ph.D. in finance, exhibit a commitment to high-quality education, and demonstrate experience in diverse instruction settings.
The Department of Finance in the School of Business at Providence College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in finance at the rank of assistant professor, commencing August 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate courses in finance specific to business in sports, as well as have the ability and expertise to also teach undergraduate and graduate introductory and intermediate courses in finance. A Ph.D. in finance or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution is required. ABDs with anticipated completion by the time of appointment will also be considered.
Housed in the Arthur F. and Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies, the School of Business is an AACSB-accredited, fast-growing, innovative institution of higher learning committed to faculty and student excellence. The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality teaching, impactful research, and supportive student advising, and a successful candidate will be expected to engage in service activities for the School and the College.
