Position Summary


The University of Southern Indiana's Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions seeks applications for a ten-month Dental Clinic Coordinator who will hold the rank of Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene/Dental Assisting. The individual in this position will be the lead clinic coordinator for senior level students and assist in the day-to-day operations of the USI Dental Clinic.


Duties/Responsibilities


Assume classroom, laboratory, and clinical teaching responsibilities in the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs, as well as participate in ongoing scholarly activity, academic advising, and University and community service.


Required Knowledge and Skills


Master's degree, current DANB certification, current Indiana dental hygiene licensure in good standing, and clinical experience in dental hygiene. An Indiana permit in local anesthesia must be obtained within one year of employment if permit is currently not held.

The faculty in the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs work collaboratively with faculty in other health professions programs.
