Randolph-Macon’s new undergraduate Data Science program, housed in the Department of Mathematics, offers both a major and a minor built on foundational and elective coursework in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, biology, and ethics. We seek a dynamic candidate who can contribute broadly to the program through hands‑on, project-based teaching; curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration; and research, including undergraduate research, that engages students in applying core statistical and computational principles to complex, real‑world data problems.
Randolph-Macon College faculty teach, advise, conduct research and engage in scholarship with undergraduate students, and serve the College and program. Primary teaching responsibilities include administering and creating courses in the Data Science program and contributing to the general education program.
The salary range for this position at the Assistant Professor level is $90,000 - $93,000 depending on previous experience in a tenure‑track teaching position.
