The University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) Department of Civil andConstruction Engineering and Management in the College ofEngineering (COE) is seeking applications for a tenure-trackAssistant Professor position in Civil Engineering/Structuresstarting as early as January 2026. The department is particularly interested in applicants whoseexperience, practice, and/or research enhance the sustainability ofthe built environment and the stewardship of natural resources.This position is targeted for candidates with a strong backgroundin Structural Engineering.Candidates in other emerging areas that align with the department'svision and strategic goals will also be considered. Additional Information

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement Systemof Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the optionto elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS,subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135days in length.
