Job summary

Butler University in Indianapolis invites applications for a tenure-track, full-time neuroscience faculty position starting August 2027. The role includes teaching three courses per semester (in-person) and guiding an active undergraduate research program in a thriving liberal arts setting.

We seek a PhD in neuroscience or related field with broad training, a record of inclusive teaching, and the ability to engage majors and non-majors across biology, CS, philosophy, and psychology.
