Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, cancer biology, biomedical sciences, or related field.
• Strong postdoctoral training and a record of high-quality publications.
• Ability to establish an independent externally funded research program.
• Experience with tissue homeostasis, host–pathogen interactions, immune regulation, and organoid/organ-on-chip models.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an externally funded research program in molecular and precision medicine.
• Conduct impactful work in aging biology, infections, cancer, mucosal/epithelial biology, regenerative medicine, or advanced human model systems.
• Develop and apply cutting-edge molecular and systems biology approaches to mechanisms and targets.
• Collaborate with clinicians and translational researchers to address clinically relevant problems.
• Publish high-impact research and contribute to national visibility; mentor students and postdocs; contribute to teaching.
