Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree required.
• Strong record of research publications.
• Experience securing external funding and building independent programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct a nationally recognized research program in biomedical science that complements existing strengths in the Department.
• Attract robust external funding to support the scholar’s research.
• Provide an outstanding environment for training students and postdoctoral fellows.
• Teach in the graduate and medical curriculum and participate in departmental, college, and university service.
