Morgridge Institute for Research, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Madison, seeks a joint tenure-track assistant professor to lead a vibrant metabolism-focused research program.

We are particularly interested in interdisciplinary scientists passionate about mechanistic understanding of metabolism and metabolic regulation, with a joint appointment as an investigator at Morgridge and as faculty in UW–Madison departments.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required (PhD, MD, or equivalent).
• Strong record of high-impact metabolism research.
• Commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary culture and mentoring of students.

Responsibilities

• Lead a metabolism-focused research program with a vision for innovative and impactful work.
• Foster collaboration across departments and the Morgridge Institute and UW–Madison.
• Mentor and train undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to high-quality instruction.
