The University of Tennessee Health Sciences, Department of Medicine, Cardiology, Memphis, TN, is seeking candidates for a full-time non-tenure Assistant Professor. This position will be 90% patient care with training Gastroenterology fellows and 10% of teaching and research.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Responsible for holding clinic sessions and for inpatient attending duties at clinical practice sites.
• Participate in departmental academic activities and divisional/departmental meetings.
• This position will also work on clinical research and translation research, and research data can be applied to patient care.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: M.D. Degree.
• LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Active or eligibility to obtain a Tennessee Medical License.
