Job summary

The SIUE School of Business seeks a tenure-eligible Assistant Professor in the CMIS department to begin August 2027, teaching in CIS/MIS, Data Analytics, IS Project Management, and/or Cybersecurity.

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Information Systems or related field; ABDs near completion will be considered. Preference given to AACSB-accredited program graduates, industry experience, and evidence of scholarly activity in line with AACSB standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Information Systems or related field; ABDs near completion considered.
• Preference for AACSB-accredited school graduates.
• Industry experience and scholarship encouraged per AACSB standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate CMIS courses in CIS/MIS, Data Analytics, IS Project Management, and Cybersecurity.
• Contribute to program development and student mentoring; engage in scholarly activity.
• Deliver courses in-person and online modalities as needed.
