Compensation: The Assistant Professor (Academic Year) salary range is $6,221 to $13,224 monthly (12 payments per year); anticipated hiring range is $6,803 to $6,939 per month ($81,636 to $83,268 annually). Salary is commensurate with experience. The California Equal Pay Act prohibits paying employees less than those of the opposite sex or other groups for substantially similar work. Summer research grants, moving expenses, start-up funds, and a reduced teaching load may be available.
