The Department of Management invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior (OB), Human Resource Management (HRM), or a related field, to begin August 16, 2027. Job duties include teaching, research, and service. Teaching expectations include teaching undergraduate courses in person and MBA courses in the hybrid in-person and online format, holding in-person office hours, and adopting a pedagogical approach that engages students in high-level learning. The successful candidate will also be expected to conduct and publish research in academic management journals. The college requires service to the department, college, university, and profession at a level consistent with faculty rank. This full-time appointment is based on Illinois State University\'s campus.

Additional Information

The Management Department is within the College of Business, which has undergraduate and graduate programs accredited by AACSB International The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The department includes more than 25 tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure-track faculty. The standard teaching load for faculty is six courses per year (three per semester) with one course release and single-course prep in the first semester of the first year. Undergraduate courses are offered in an in-person format, and MBA courses are offered in a hybrid in-person and online format. Both undergraduate and MBA instructors frequently incorporate high-impact and experiential learning practices. Two years of summer research support is also provided.
