An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Assistant Professor in advanced computational design. This full-time, tenure-track role involves teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, emphasizing innovation in design and technology. The Department of Architecture at Thomas Jefferson University, in collaboration with the College of Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE), seeks candidates for a full-time, 9-month, Assistant Professor position in advanced computational design. This is a tenure-track role. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The College aims to complement its collegial faculty with an individual capable of advancing critical areas of computational design and integrating them into architectural processes. The successful candidate will develop insights into these areas and teach studio, lecture, and seminar courses emphasizing computational design at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Education Required:
Candidates must have one of the following:
Degrees should be in Architecture or a related discipline. Foreign equivalents are acceptable. Candidates with exceptional professional experience, licensure, and recognized work may also be considered. Experience with advanced digital software and technologies related to architecture is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a doctorate in the relevant area of scholarship.
Consideration will be given to those with research and teaching experience in advanced computational design, especially in architectural studios, seminars, and lectures.
