Boston University invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. We seek candidates who specialize in the intersection of artificial intelligence and politics or who use artificial intelligence applications as a methodology for studying key questions in political science. The search is open with respect to subfield. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2027, pending final budgetary approval. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate students, engage in service to the Department, College of Arts and Sciences, and University, and hold a PhD at the start of the appointment. The starting salary for this position is $115,000 to $130,000.
