Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a full-time Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology with a focus on geriatric oncology. The role centers on building a geriatric oncology program and contributing to KUCC, CSPOR, and LCOA.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Hematology/Oncology AND Geriatrics board certification.
• Record of excellence in clinical care and research with extramural funding.
• Experience in geriatric oncology programs and education is valued.

Responsibilities

• Participate in consults, inpatient service coverage, and rotating on-call.
• Manage ambulatory geriatric oncology clinics.
• Engage in scholarly activities derived from clinical/educational work.
• Develop and lead a geriatric medical oncology program.
• Contribute to KUCC, CSPOR, and LCOA initiatives and potential T32 training.
