Position Summary

The Department of Finance is seeking an individual with a solid background in Mathematics, Machine Learning, and Quantitative Finance to teach the “Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance” class.

This course reviews recent developments in the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a specific focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for business and finance applications. It summarizes practical applications, provides examples of the latest Generative AI tools, and demonstrates how Generative AI can revolutionize data analysis in industry and academia. The course addresses how these cutting-edge technologies (Gen AI and LLM) reshape traditional financial topics, such as asset pricing, financial intermediation, investment strategies, and behavioral finance. It will also focus on understanding how Gen AI and LLM modeling brings forward ethical implications, benefits financial inclusion, and enhances regulatory and policy changes.

Minimum Requirements
