Assistant Professor - Family Medicine St. John's Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program | University of Minnesota

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and mentoring

  • Engagement in scholarly activities and research

About The Department

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota has been a national leader in training primary care physicians for over 45 years. We are the academic sponsor of eight family medicine residency programs, including five in the Twin Cities and three in Greater Minnesota. Our faculty are actively engaged in medical student education, fellowship training, research, and community outreach.

Pay and Benefits:

This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $52,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary will be in the range of $210,000 - $230,000. Total salary will be dependent on taking medicine and/or OB call, years of experience, and rank. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Opportunities for additional compensation are available via the department's incentive pay plan.

Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment
