UC San Diego invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics within the Department of Physics. The successful candidate will establish and lead a research program, collaborate with faculty, and participate in teaching and mentoring at undergraduate and graduate levels.

The ideal candidate will develop an internationally recognized program of excellence in both teaching and research and have the ability to teach lecture and laboratory

Formación

• Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field is required.
• Ability to develop a recognized program of excellence in both teaching and research.
• Interest and capability to teach lecture and laboratory courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and lead a research group in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics.
• Collaborate with UC San Diego faculty and other institutions.
• Contribute to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
