The Department of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position to begin fall semester 2025 (08/25/2025). Areas of specialization are open. The Department of Economics is committed to attracting candidates from historically under-represented groups.
The appointment will be 100% time over the nine-month academic year, at the level of tenure-track assistant professor depending on qualifications and experience, with a competitive salary. Faculty are expected to maintain an active research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in theoretical and/or applied economics, and contribute service to the department, college, university, and profession.

Candidates will be evaluated based on academic preparation, research ability, teaching commitment, and recommendations.
