Description

Emory University’s Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery seeks a Laryngologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join a robust multidisciplinary team in the Emory Voice Center.

The employee will have an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending upon the candidate’s qualifications. The highly motivated team has long been actively involved in academic, research, and professional endeavors at the national and international levels. Opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in scholarly activities. Duties will include patient care, resident and fellow teaching, and academic productivity. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and will have a university appointment.

The position comprises a clinical appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology at a level commensurate with credentials and experience, as well as an academic appointment in the Emory University School of Medicine. The job provides a competitive 12-month salary with excellent benefits.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
  2. Laryngology fellowship
  3. Strong research and publication history, experience in clinical and research mentorship
  4. Eligibility for a valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
  5. A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
