Position Description

The Women’s Research and Resource Center invites applications for a tenure‑track position with a focus on women’s health at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2027. Candidates should have teaching experience and a commitment to research in global women’s health and Women’s and Gender Studies. Candidates should be prepared to teach Introduction to Women’s Studies courses and upper‑division courses in women’s health, and to assist in strengthening the women’s health concentration as a component of the Comparative Women’s Studies major. Specialized fields may include health status of women of African descent and comparative feminist health studies. Grant‑writing experience, evidence of successful research, and the potential for publication are desirable.
