Job summary

Aurora University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Psychology in Clinical/Counseling to design and teach in a newly developed MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The position is tenure track, with plans for CACREP accreditation and enrollment starting in 2028.

The role requires a Doctorate in Counselor Education, teaching across graduate and undergraduate levels, and active participation in service and scholarship. Hybrid or remote work will be considered.

Qualifications

• Prior teaching and curricular development experience preferred.
• Clinical experience or field work/internship from a CACREP-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Design curriculum to be compliant with CACREP-accreditation.
• Teach both graduate and undergraduate courses.
• Participate in university service and engage in scholarship/professional activity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
