Qualifications

• Teaching responsibilities may include didactic, lab and clinical.
• Remain current in the discipline through research and attendance at professional continuing education seminars.
• Serve on committees as assigned and attend faculty, departmental, and other meetings as necessary.
• Advise students throughout the semester.
• Provide tutoring to students upon request.
• Maintain office hours to be accessible and available to students and staff.
• Review textbooks/resources in the discipline and place orders according to the University schedule.
• Maintain grades and submit mid-term and/or final grades through My NKU by the University deadlines.
• Work cooperatively with the faculty team including adjunct clinical faculty.
• Contribute to scholarship or creative activities within the field of nursing or related field.

Education

Doctorate in nursing or related field. Two years of experience inclinical practice within the past five years required. Must haveability to teach across all BSN levels. Must have strongpathopharmacology knowledge and clinical decision making with theability to thread nursing concepts into all assigned courses.Previous academic teaching experience preferred.

Must possess a valid unencumbered nursing license. Licensure in KYand Ohio required or Multi-state
