The Department of Biological Sciences at Prairie View A&M University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in Fall 2024. The appointment of a Tenure-Track (TT) Assistant Professor specializing in Histology or Anatomy & Physiology directly addresses the imperative of maintaining a robust foundation in the natural sciences, crucial for bolstering enrollment and retention rates, particularly among Biology majors. This position aligns with the department's staffing needs by addressing the demand for tailored instruction within the Biology program. The Biology department has the highest student enrollment in the Arts & Sciences.
