Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor - Open Rank

The University of Georgia School of Law invites applications to fill one or more tenure‑track or tenured positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. Positions will begin in August 2027, with a possible January 1, 2028 start date.

Minimum Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, Doctor of Science of Law (J.S.D.) or Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

Disciplines of Focus: professional responsibility, torts, and bankruptcy/secured transactions. Candidates who can teach more than one of these disciplines are especially welcome.

Preferred Qualifications: Commitment to producing world‑class scholarship, first‑rate legal education, and meaningful service. For Associate Professor or Professor rank, demonstrated potential for excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service; an established track record of scholarly publications or proven scholarly potential.
