Assistant Professor/Associate Professor - (Harris Health Clinics) - Family and Community Medicine, McGovern Medical School

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track position in the Department of Family & Community Medicine. The selected candidate will contribute to the department's mission to provide healthcare to an urban underserved population and train the next generation of physicians.

Position Key Accountabilities:
  1. Providing direct patient care in outpatient settings, including supervision of medical students and residents in the clinic.
  2. Developing and maintaining an environment that supports excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and standards aimed at positive patient care outcomes, including excellent risk-adjusted outcomes.
Qualifications:
  1. M.D., D.O.
  2. ABFM Board Certified
  3. Texas Medical License or eligibility for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.
  4. Multilingual skills preferred.
