Description

Clinical Service Expectations and Administrative Role

Clinical duties divided between the Advanced Heart Failure and Interventional Cardiology programs at EDH

9 outpatient clinical session per week divided between:

1. The outpatient Advanced HF clinic and inpatient consultation service at EDH2. Attending physician in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and EDH3. One session at an outreach site to be determined

1 session per week for administrative activities

Clinical duties are subject to change at the discretion of Emory Heart & Vascular Executive Director as dictated by operational and strategic needs of the service line.

Teaching Expectations

Note, in keeping with the School of Medicine Guidelines for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure, upon joining Emory you would be expected to participate in teaching, which may include occasional lectures, small group and bedside teaching, preceptorship, and mentorship. In addition, you will engage in other scholarly or academic activities.

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
