General Information: The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University (TAMU) invites applications for separate full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Plant Biology, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2027. We are especially interested in candidates who employ interdisciplinary, collaborative, and innovative approaches to fundamental questions in plant biology. We welcome applicants whose research transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries.

As part of a major departmental expansion aligned with our 2020–2029 Strategic Plan, this search is intended to strengthen research excellence in broad areas of biology that currently include microbiology, biological resilience, synthetic biology, evolution, and biological clocks.
