Overview
The Assistant Production Manager will assist the Production Manager with any Audio Visual needs for the Cross Insurance Center.
This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00.

Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating between show production and venue.
- Advancing and obtaining preshow technical information, including production needs, rider requirements and staging.
- Assist in communication with local contractors (vendors), tours and clients renting the arena for all show requirements, including stagehands, casual labor and rental equipment, with an emphasis on quality, reliability, compliance and cost.
- Assist with day of show management of concert, private and venue presented events from load in to load out, with an emphasis on customer (artist/client) service, adherence to time schedules, restrictions and cost containment.
- Assist in obtaining preshow estimates as well as final invoices for show settlement and review for accuracy.
- Venue technical representative for scheduled shows and point person for events using House A/V.
- Assist in coordinating and managing approved subcontractors and third-party vendors to ensure safe, compliant, efficient and successful events.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and supervising team of House A/V techs.
- Regular maintenance and quality checks on all House A/V and Production equipment; repair and/or obtain quotes for replacement as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Combination 1-3 plus years of experience as promoter rep, or event coordinator; general knowledge of venue operations preferred.
- Possess strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with attention to detail/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a self-motivated individual who possesses a “roll up the sleeves attitude” and a “hands-on” style, as well as the aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced, results- oriented environment.
- Flexible schedule (days/nights, late hours, weekends, and holidays).
- Implementation and execution of all venue policies, procedures and programs.
- Must work well under pressure/Even tempered.
- Ability to make clear concise decisions; sometimes with limited information.
- Computer proficiency in Windows applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCad).
- Must have excellent references.
