Job description

ASST PRODUCTION MANAGER
At SpeedPro Imaging, we create visual experiences that change the world. How? We help businesses bring ideas to life by creating content that makes life more fun and marketing more impactful. We give our clients the power to truly engage their customers. We’re the ones behind that fleet of trucks you see everywhere, and we’re also the ones that design, produce and install the wall and floor murals you see at businesses, universities and sports arenas across the U.S. We specialize in large-format graphics that give our customers the wow-factor their business needed.

At SpeedPro Imaging, we act with energy, passion, and professionalism. We’re backed by a culture of innovations and entrepreneurship, and we’re looking for exceptional talent to join us.

The Production Manager reports directly to the SpeedPro Imaging studio owner and is primarily responsible for producing various wide-format specialty printing products. This position plays a critical role in the franchise’s profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn-around times, high-quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. 65% Printing and Production (including measuring, finishing and some installations)
  2. 15% Graphic Design
  3. 10% Inventory Management and Equipment Maintenance
  4. 10% Miscellaneous (i.e., studio upkeep and deliveries)

Core Functions:
  1. Lead the printing and production of client orders
  2. Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs and make the graphics print-ready
  3. Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators and plotters
  4. Conduct inventory and procurement (the team can help with the actual ordering of materials, so long as you provide a list of what is needed)

Secondary Functions:
  1. Graphic design services (unless outsourced)
  2. Smaller graphic installations
  3. Unloading/unpacking deliveries to the studio
  4. Vehicle inspections and measurements; performing site surveys
  5. Packing, labeling and shipping completed jobs; making deliveries
  6. Utilization of CoreBridge software for estimates/quotes

Other Required Skills:
  1. Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem-solving skills
  2. Team player who can accept constructive criticism
  3. Focus on quality assurance (ensuring the finished product is 100% correct before it leaves the studio)
  4. Superior time management focus in order to achieve efficiencies and meet strict deadlines
  5. Customer-service oriented (this is the lifeblood of SpeedPro Imaging)
  6. Excellent communication skills, both internally and with customers
  7. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ideal candidates will also possess:
  1. 2+ years of designing/working with vehicle graphics and templates
  2. Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and graphic and signage finishing
  3. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design (or similar program)

Compensation and Benefits:

$18-25/hr (based on experience) + overtime pay when required
Studio profit-sharing plan and annual bonus potential
Healthcare benefits and company-paid monthly Netflix subscription
Additional training/development opportunities
