Job summary

Spencer's is seeking an Assistant Product Manager in New Jersey to support the product development lifecycle from concept to market. You will coordinate samples, analyze costs, and ensure timely communications across teams.

In this role you will help manage vendor relations, track data in the PLM system, and assist in market research, aiming to optimize product performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years related experience.
• Strong retail math understanding.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook and Excel).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Manager to oversee the product development cycle.
• Support vendor relations to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to maintain momentum.
• Handle cataloging of all incoming samples and coordinate reviews.
• Input and manage data in the PLM system.
• Coordinate with licensing team to meet deadlines and approvals.
• Assist in analyzing in-season sales data and share insights.
• Participate in market trend research and competitive shopping.
• Support presentations to senior management with final samples and cost evaluations.
