Product Developer by translating customer requirements into product features, drawings, and schedules, and by preparing specifications, sketches, and submittals. Responsibilities include reviewing specs, preparing drawings, researching materials, coordinating with vendors, and supporting cost-saving design improvements.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Certificate in engineering drafting or design, industrial technology, manufacturing design, mechanical design, or electrical/manufacturing.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.
• Electrical background experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support product development by preparing sketches, drawings, and weekly reports under senior guidance.
• Review and annotate product specifications and design narratives with input from seniors.
• Assist with equipment submittals by reviewing docs and packaging materials.
• Research materials, manufacturers, and design processes to inform decisions.
• Collaborate to implement design best practices and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain accurate product data and timely information exchange.
• Audit Revit BOMs, verify labeling spreadsheets, and ensure As-builts are complete.
• Attend team meetings and help develop feeder schedules and labeling strategies.
