Job summary

W. Lee Flowers & Co is seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join their team at Kj’s Market in Sylvania, Georgia. In this role, you will ensure guests receive polite service and work on achieving sales goals within the produce department while maintaining inventory and product quality.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and be able to lift weights as required. Benefits include weekly pay, medical, dental, vision, and a 100% company-funded pension.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the produce/floral department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales and profits for the produce/floral department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to FLOCO Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure produce department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, conditioning, stocking and guests service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s staffing and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
