ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. in Jonesboro, AR is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to lead material procurement activities for raw materials and packaging, and to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain continuity of production.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, including supplier negotiations and ERP usage. This is an onsite, 6-month contract with extension potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience including supplier management and PO execution.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier pricing, terms, lead times, and supply agreements.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, ICAT, Velocity or similar).
• Strong cross-functional communication, organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for raw materials and packaging, including PO creation, pricing verification, and delivery coordination.
• Serve as primary liaison between suppliers, planning, operations and sourcing teams to ensure material availability and production continuity.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor setup, documentation management, and cross-functional coordination for new supplier integration.
• Assist with supplier negotiations involving pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply continuity strategies.
• Track sourcing milestones, maintain procurement data and records, and support ongoing supplier management and procurement operations.

Job Title: Assistant Procurement Manager

Location: Jonesboro, AR (onsite)

Contract: 6 Months (extension possible)

Pay Range: $28 - $31 hourly

What’s the Job?
