Job summary

The Menta Education Group in Bourbonnais, IL is seeking an Assistant Principal to support district initiatives, advance teacher development, and oversee PBIS implementation and adherence to Common Core Standards.

Responsibilities include leading school-wide improvement, building teams, supervising staff, fostering high expectations, and partnering with parents to enhance student outcomes. Start Summer 2026 or SY 2026/27.

Qualifications

• IL PEL with LBS1 required for the role.
• Preferred Principal Certification or intent to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of PBIS model and CCSS.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead administrator with school leadership and direction.
• Support school-wide initiatives in special education.
• Drive change by collaborating with staff and students to improve academics and behavior.
• Lead the school by building high-performing teams and managing people.
• Promote student success by continually improving teaching and learning.

• Encourage professional development and supervise teachers and staff.
• Confer with students, parents, and staff to resolve issues.
