Job summary

Wilson County Schools Administrative Services is seeking an Assistant Principal in Wilson, North Carolina. The role reports to the Principal and oversees assigned staff, while supporting the development and implementation of the total school program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education Administration.
• 3–5 years of experience as a classroom teacher.
• Must possess a teaching certificate from the State of North Carolina and a valid NC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing the school's instructional program.
• Provide direction to staff to achieve goals and objectives.
• Coordinate budgets and schedules for the school.
• Assist in record keeping and supervision of supplies and materials.
• Disseminate information about school discipline policies to parents, students and staff.
• Communicate program goals, objectives and policies to the community.
• Support staff development and performance improvements.
