Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator with preparing the press and materials.
• Monitor and adjust inks, including checking viscosity hourly.
• Remove finished film from the machine and palletize for pickup.
• Return inks to the ink room and clean machine components between jobs.
• Handle hazardous waste in compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Follow all safety guidelines, wear PPE, and meet OSHA standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Complete rework tasks as needed.

Schedule: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Sunday-Thursday

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Press Assistant to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll work alongside a Press Operator to help prepare, run, and maintain high-speed printing equipment. What You Will Do

• Assist the Press Operator with preparing the press and all job-related materials
• Monitor and adjust inks as needed, including checking ink viscosity on an hourly basis
• Remove finished film from the machine and stage it on pallets for pickup
• Retrieve and return inks to the ink room and clean machine components between jobs
• Handle and manage hazardous waste in compliance with safety and environmental requirements
• Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and meet OSHA standards
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Complete rework tasks as needed
