An established industry player is seeking dedicated educators to create a nurturing and safe learning environment for children. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with families and ensuring compliance with educational standards. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., be CPR and First Aid certified, and have a commitment to ongoing training. Applicant must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Applicant must have a clear background.
Applicant may not have a history of child abuse or neglect allegations.
Applicant must be able to pass a drug screening and additional randoms throughout employment history.
Applicant must be CPR and First Aid certified.
Applicant must have an up-to-date immunization record including TB.
Educator must provide a safe, kid-friendly learning environment daily.
Educator must be skilled enough to identify child developmental levels.
Educator must build secure relationships with children and families.
Educator must be able to maintain daily activity updates on Procare, so parents have the option to track their child’s engagement.
Educator must promptly report all accidents, illness, and unusual behavioral changes to Director(s) and parents.
Educator must consistently interact with children daily and move around the classroom to monitor the environment for safety.
Educator must make arrangements and commit to obtaining a Childcare Development Accreditation within 1 year of hire. Educator will also be required to attend ongoing educational training to remain in compliance with Texas Minimum Standards for Childcare Centers.
Educator must be able to lift at least 20 lbs and perform cleaning and sanitizing duties (i.e., sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing your work area daily).
Educator must be able to push, pull at least 20 lbs, squat down to sit on the floor with children, and stand and walk around to monitor the children.
Educator must be flexible to perform all other duties assigned as duties may change from time to time.
