Job summary

Primrose School of Wellington is seeking an Assistant Teacher to create a fun, safe environment for young children while supporting early learning through guided play.

You will work with a co-teacher, implement Balanced Learning curriculum, maintain a tidy classroom, and help children build vocabulary and motor skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, safe environment for young children as they explore and learn.
• Support early learning through a daily schedule of purposeful play and activities.
• Collaborate with a co-teacher to implement the Balanced Learning curriculum from research-informed plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and confident decision-making.
• Help children develop vocabulary, motor skills and social skills through guided interactions.
