Job summary

ABCD in Batavia, NY is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support our Preschool classrooms. You will assist the Lead Teacher, help with feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime, and foster a safe, loving environment where children can grow and learn.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development preferred.
• Current CDA or related experience with infants/toddlers and relevant coursework/training.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience working with infants and/or toddlers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in caring for infants and toddlers
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime
• Help create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
• Observe and support children's developmental milestones
• Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Communicate positively with teachers and families
