Job summary

Agri-Business Child Development in Seneca Falls, NY, seeks a caring Teaching Assistant for Preschool classrooms. You will support the Lead Teacher, help manage routines, and foster a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and passionate about early childhood development, with experience in infant/toddler care and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. This on-site role offers growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development is required.
• CDA certification or relevant coursework in infant/toddler content is accepted.
• Experience with infants and/or toddlers is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and care for young children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in caring for infants and toddlers.
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime.
• Help create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe and support children’s developmental milestones.
• Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Communicate positively with teachers and families.

• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift, carry, and care for young children
