Job summary

Guardian Angels Catholic Preschool in Santee, CA is seeking an Assistant Preschool Director to support daily operations and staff while upholding the school’s faith-based mission. The role involves classroom assistance, curriculum execution, and active parental communication.

The ideal candidate will meet California licensing requirements, have CPR/First Aid, and may hold or pursue Catechist certification. Bilingual English/Spanish and teaching experience are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must meet applicable California licensing requirements for assigned classroom and administrative responsibilities.
• Catechist Certification or willingness to obtain certification in accordance with diocesan requirements.
• Experience working with children ages 2 through Kindergarten preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Preschool Director with daily operations, staff supervision, classroom coverage, curriculum implementation, and parent communication.
• Support enrollment activities and licensing compliance; mentor staff and assist in classrooms as needed.
