Kids Play, part of Cadence Education, seeks a Preschool Assistant Director to lead a vibrant team and create a joyful learning environment in Cumberland, RI. You will mentor 20–40 educators, partner with families, and ensure licensing and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of teaching leadership, a relevant degree, and a passion for early childhood development, with driving requirements met and a commitment to growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven success as an Assistant Director at a large school.
• 3–5 years of hands-on teaching experience.
• Meets state licensing standards, including criminal background screening and fingerprinting.
• Bachelor’s degree + 6+ months in group childcare, OR Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.
• Eligible to hold an Education Coordinator license.
• Deep knowledge of national/state education standards, licensing, fire, health, and OSHA regulations.
• Strong grasp of USDA Nutritional Standards for Schools.
• At least 21 years old with corporate driving requirements met.
